Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the software products and downloads offered under the brand Stand Down (the "Products"), available at standdown.se (the "Site"). By purchasing, downloading, or using a Product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Stand Down is operated by Stand Down AB, a company registered in Sweden under org. no. 556992-1678, VAT no. SE556992167801 ("Stand Down", "we", "us", "our"). Our registered office address is held by the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) and is available on request. You can reach us at support@standdown.se.

2. Payments and our reseller (Merchant of Record)

Orders and payments for paid Products are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC ("Lemon Squeezy"), which acts as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy a Product, your contract for the sale is with Lemon Squeezy, who handles payment, billing, invoicing, and the collection and remittance of applicable taxes (such as VAT). Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. We remain responsible for the Products themselves and for support.

3. Licence to use the Products

Subject to your payment and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and use the Product for your own personal or internal business purposes.

Unless your purchase or a separate written agreement says otherwise, you may not:

• resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the Product or your licence key;
• share your licence key publicly or with third parties;
• remove or alter any proprietary notices; or
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Product, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

Some Products are plugins or extensions for third-party applications (such as Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, or Adobe Photoshop). You are responsible for holding valid licences for those host applications. Those applications and their trademarks belong to their respective owners; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them.

4. Free tools

Some Products are offered free of charge ("Freebies"). Freebies are provided "as is" and the same usage restrictions in section 3 apply, except those relating to payment.

5. Intellectual property

We (or our licensors) retain all intellectual property rights in and to the Products, the Site, and all related materials. No rights are granted to you other than the limited licence expressly set out in these Terms.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Warranties and disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the Products work as described. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except for any mandatory rights you have as a consumer, the Products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Swedish or EU law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory consumer rights.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts that those protections allow. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. We will post the current version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
