Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Stand Down collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit standdown.se (the "Site") or purchase our products. We are committed to handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Stand Down AB (org. no. 556992-1678), a company registered in Sweden. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@standdown.se. Our registered office address is held by the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) and is available on request.

2. What we collect and why

Purchases

When you buy a product, the payment is processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC. Lemon Squeezy collects the information needed to complete your order, such as your name, email address, billing address, country, and payment details. We do not see or store your full card details. We receive limited order information (such as your name, email, product purchased, and country) to deliver the product, provide support, and keep records. See Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy.

Support and contact

If you email us, we process the information you provide (such as your email address and the contents of your message) to respond and provide support.

Website usage

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes limited technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) to deliver the Site and protect it against abuse. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Site.

3. Legal bases for processing

• Performance of a contract: to deliver products you purchase and provide support.
• Legal obligation: to keep accounting and tax records.
• Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
• Consent: where we ask for it (for example, optional communications); you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Who we share data with

We share data with service providers who help us run the business, including:

• Lemon Squeezy, LLC: payments, billing, tax, and order management (Merchant of Record);
• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, content delivery, and security;
• Google LLC: web fonts served via Google Fonts.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers are located outside the EU/EEA (for example, in the United States). Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.

6. How long we keep data

We keep order and accounting records for as long as required by Swedish law (generally seven years for accounting records). Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email support@standdown.se.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), imy.se.

8. Cookies

The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. When you proceed to checkout, Lemon Squeezy may set cookies that are necessary to process your order; these are governed by Lemon Squeezy's policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the current version here with an updated "Last updated" date.
